One evening while taking a walk, we came across a very sweet, very pregnant cat. She had been dropped, so we brought her back home, just for the night, just until we could decide what to do with her. But that evening, she had 7 kittens in our garage! Obviously, they weren’t going anywhere anytime soon. So we named her Buttermilk after the road we had found her on and kept the entire brood until the kittens were old enough for new homes. Maylee and Simon are from that litter.
